Features:

- Easy install flex cable for Game Boy Advance noise reduction.
- Perfect for modded consoles with IPS screens & or battery mods.
- Three solder points on ribbon mounts flex cable to the motherboard.
- The tiny Capacitors pre-installed onto the flex cable.
- Requires console disassembly and soldering to install.

Description:

The installation of modern screens and batteries to a Game Boy Advance can cause unwanted additional noise in the audio, this easy install flex cable will remove approximately 80% of the noise with just three solder points.

To install this part you should ideally use flux and a fine tip soldering iron (not included), and add solder to the mounting points on the mainboard and onto the ribbon flex pads, you can then place the flex into position and reflow the solder with your iron to secure into place.

Requires some technical fitting to install including soldering, the flex cable comes pre-populated, making installation much easier, no need to solder the tiny capacitors.

Recapping of the console is recommended for optimum performance of the console and noise reduction in conjuction with this mod. Bad soldering joints on the power cleaner may cause undesirable results such as the console failing to boot properly, if you are not confident in soldering we recommend getting someone who is experienced to fit this part, the video above shows what is involved in the installation, flux will aid the installation, soldering iron and solder is required to install (not included).

Easy to install, works great!

I've done a few GBA screen mods now and ever since discovering these filters, I won't do one without it now. My first ever mod had such a terrible audio buzz through headphones until I installed one of these, greatly reduced after. Easy to install for even an amateur at soldering like myself.

Not really needed for stock GBAs, but essential if you do a screen mod AND add a LiPO battery. Fits great, but I would recommend covering with kapton tape after installing to make sure there is no risk of shorting with the rear of the screen.

Far less bulky than the equivalent audio filter produced by Retrosix (my usual go-to for handheld mods) & looks less fiddly to install. Will update if I run into any problems but pleased so far

Easy to fit and works great

Another great mod from helder and while it looks intimidating it's actually really easy to install helder has done a really good job to make this as simple as possible for us noobs and hobbyist.
I highly recommend using some very thin solder though as you can easily use too much since the cap your soldering too is so tiny
