Description:

The Hyperkin Duke styled premium controller is a remake of the original Xbox OG first generation controller pad, compatible with Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC

The controller matches the large size of the original pad, but features model upgrades including precision triggers, a 3.5" headphone jack and a detachable USB cord.

A screen showing the classic Xbox boot animation replaces the central logo badge, in a nod to the controllers retro heritage.

A 6ft braided type C USB cable is included with the controller.

Wired controller compatible with Xbox One, Series S/X and Windows 10 PCs consoles.

Not compatible with OG original Xbox, only compatible with PC and Xbox one upwards.

The Duke Hyperkin is a perfect recreation of the original Duke in form factor, with a few modernizations to better match a modern Xbox controller layout such as the bumpers. Be aware this is a hefty beast, again much like the original, which to people like me is a positive, but it can be a negative to some. My favorite things about the controller is how nice everything feels to press, and the triggers especialy sit in the back row and in my testing are excellent at capturing different levels of pressure. The analog sticks too have been very accurate and delightful to play 3D movement games with. The d-pad is a bit weird for diagonal inputs, but I believe that might have been a deliberate choice to stay faithful to the original. The main thing I believe some people might find obnoxious about this controller is the huge xbox logo screen/button in the middle, but I particularly find it endearing especially to play in a darkened room. The clear green plastic is beautifully done and gives this controller a nostalgic 2000s aura that is hard to match.
