A Great Tribute - You get what you pay for

Bought it as a substitute for a mini hori pad.

I play smash 64 competitively so I'll list the pros and cons from my POV:

Pros:
- Super smooth stick, your thumb won't be hurting without extreme effort
- Great price compared to the hori mini pad
- Extra Z button
- A long 3m cable
- Most buttons work correctly and most of them feel good to press
- The stick range on the tribute is higher than an original N64 controller (approx 100, 85 respectably), actually improving some techniques performed in-game drastically

Cons:
- Can be too sensitive; it's very difficult to do consistent slight and precise inputs (slightly tilting the stick) because it's so sensitive
- More of a personal pet peeve, but I find the back Z triggers a little strange to press. They have a slight upwards curve to them instead of just a flat button that are on the N64 controller
- The tribute controller I got came with a slight flaw; the R button sometimes doesn't register when pressed, which is a big shame since that button is used a lot and it decreases consistency, but this could be a unique issue to the controller I obtained
- Not consistent ranges on the stick. Some directions output as high as 112 whilst others output 72

Extra note:
Some people might also not like the gate of the stick, which is different to the original N64 controller, but I had no problems with it personally.

TLDR; it's a no brainer if you want a hori mini pad like controller but don't want to pay as much/not available in your area. Just expect that you get what you pay for with the slight imperfections. Perfect for casual gaming, but it has some noticeable flaws for competitive gaming that slightly decreases consistency.
