Compatible with Dual Sense controllers, can also be used with Dual Sense Edge but this requires an additional driver board for them to work.

To install these yourself you will need to be reasonably comfortable with both desoldering and soldering of electronic parts, difficulty level medium, clean and high quality soldering is needed in order for your controller to work properly once installed.

Compatible with Sony PS5 controllers, please note that opening the controller voids any warranty you may have with the manufacturer and installation of replacement parts is done at your own risk.

Includes one pair of hall sense joysticks, it is recommended to replace both the left and right at the same time, there is no left of right module so each replacment will fit either the left or right side control.

Calibration using an online software tool may be needed once the modules are installed.

Why use Hall effect over traditional analog sticks? 

Traditional analog sticks use physical contacts inside the potentiometers, a conductive material and acts as a resistor to read a electrical value that identifies the joystick position. This material wears down over time a bit like breaks in your car, so depending on hours of use or play style the carbon breaks down and the joysticks start to read differently, creating what is known as drift.

The pots on the hall sense joysticks utilise magnets which pass over a small IC detecting changes in the joystick's position relative to a magnetic field. As you move the joystick, the sensors detect movement with high sensitiviy to convert them into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted to your controller just like traditional analogs, translating your movements into in-game actions.

This process happens in real-time, providing accurate and precise control over your gaming experience. By utilizing magnetic sensor technology, Hall Sense joysticks offer consistent and reliable performance thanks to their contact-free mechanism. This ensures that your gaming inputs are always captured with precision, without the risk of drift or inaccuracies over time.

The hall sense sticks can be calibrated using a software tool at any time to, allowing you to see how the joysticks are functioning, set the dead center and adjust the range settings.

Requires technical installation, the parts must be soldered, you will need to also be able to desolder the mold modules.
