Description:
The Scart Sense Injector allows you to add signal voltages to switch tube TVs to a specific mode (RGB / AV & 4:3 / 16:9).-
Normally, Scart cables already provide these voltages themselves, but many third-party cables do not provide them or do so incorrectly. Likewise, certain adapters and switches are not designed to generate these voltages.
A good example of this is the HD15-2-Scart adapter. Since there is no voltage in the VGA cable, it cannot be passed on to Scart.
If you want the tube to automatically switch to the Scart input when you turn on the VGA device, you can achieve this with the Scart Sense Injector.
In addition, the Scart Sense Injector detects whether or not there is a signal present and only switches the voltage when there is a signal.
Note: To operate the Scart Sense Injector, a USB power supply with Power Delivery or other fast charge protocols that can send 12V is required. Each USB power supply indicates which voltages can be output via which port. The Scart Sense Injector has a USB-C connector.
A branded power supply is recommended for safety and to ensure there is no impact on things like video signal integrety, trusted USB power plug brands such as Ugreen and Anker are a good choice.
