In order to allow you to make your own console repairs and change your own batteries, you need to remove the casing tamper resistant screws using either a 3.8 or 4.5mm security screwdriver from this set.
Once the casing is opened you can complete various maintenance and repair tasks such as cleaning, replacing batteries, recapping motherboards and more.
The screwdrivers feature ergonomic full size handles and a long shaft length for the deepest screw holes, ideal for games consoles such as GameCube and Virtual Boy.
Please note that opening your device will in most cases void your warranty (which most likely expired long ago for most devices).
