Features:
- Compact 3.5mm headphone jack
- Ideal for modding a Game Boy Advance SP
- Accessible pins for soldering wires
- Accepts regular 3.5mm headphones
- Requires manual modification and soldering to fit
Description:
This compact headphone port is an ideal size to fit your own custom 3.5mm headphone port into a GBA SP.
The mod requires manual cutting and soldering, no instructions are provided but you can find guides online.
Adding a 3.5" headphone port requires soldering some wires from the GBA SP motherboard to the corresponsing pins on the headphone port, you will also need to drill and or cut a hole into the housing to provide access to the socket, and secure it in place, typically with some hot glue.
This is a more advanced manual mod that does require some soldering experience and experience cutting and drilling plastic in order to make a neat and tidy modification of the shell.
