Description:

Looking to upgrade the storage in your OG Xbox to a SSD or other 2.5 inch drive and want to securely hold it in place?

Look no further than this 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch adapter that was custom designed specifically for the original Xbox.

Ideal for using a SATA to IDE adapter and SSD or 2.5 inch hard drive.

Attach your 2.5" drive to the adapter first with standard m3 x 4mm laptop drive screws.

4 x 6-32 case screws and 2 x 2.5" hard drive screws are included with the bracket.

You can use the original Xbox harddrive screws to hold the adapter in place. Or use regular #6-32 PC screws.

When opening your console you may not be able to reattach the rubber feet that cover some screws as they are many years old.

We offer feet replacement with a screw hold cut out so that they do not need to be removed again in the future, you can find replacement OG Xbox feet here:

Install:

Torx screwdrivers are needed to remove some screws, T20 is needed for the outer housing, T15 & T10 are needed to remove the original hard drive bracket, you will also need philips #00 &#0 sized screwdrivers for the installation of the 2.5" drive replacement. (Tools not included)
