In order to get under the hood of your console, game or controller you need to remove the casing screws using either a tri-wing (Y0 & Y00) or cross-wing (#00) screwdriver from this set.

No need to send your console or accessory to a service centre for repair, these screwdrivers allow you to open it to complete your own repair.

The Basics

The screwdriver set is of good quality, no trouble using it with my GCC. The tri-wing specifically is the right size and fit for the exterior six screws and the additional phillips fits the screws holding the trigger plate to the shell well enough. The pry tools are generally unecessary, but it's nice to have them just in case and they can be useful for clearing gunk out of your controller seams when you don't want to perform a full strip down.

All that said, these really are just the most basic tools, if you're expecting to be working with tools like this a lot I'd recommend getting some with extra features, magnetised tips and swivel tops for example. But in any case, these guys get the job done no problem.
